The Matchlight Documentary Internship Programme, was launched in July 2010. It aims to equip a new generation of Scottish based producer/directors with the experience they need to win network television commissions. The year-long, paid professional development programme will help four producer/directors devise, develop and pitch TV programme ideas for their first UK network commissions. The Internship Programme is supported by Creative Scotland, Highlands & Island Enterprise and Channel 4, with one of the four places ring-fenced for talent from the Highlands & Islands.
